I Didn’t Become Confident Overnight
Last night before falling asleep, memories from my childhood suddenly came back to me.
I remembered hearing phrases like:
“You’re so useless.”
“You probably can’t do that anyway.”
At first glance, these may sound like ordinary words.
But for a child, repeated words slowly become an inner voice.
And when you are young, you don’t yet understand concepts like:
“the courage to be disliked.” 😄
So when you try to express yourself, resist, or be different,
what often comes back is criticism, rejection, or disappointment.
And slowly, a child begins to doubt themselves.
After becoming a mother, many of these subconscious voices resurfaced.
At that time, I genuinely believed:
“I can’t do anything.”
“I’m not capable.”
“I’m failing.”
Even now, I still remember that feeling.
A deep discomfort inside,
mixed with helplessness before awareness fully awakens.
And interestingly, when we lack awareness,
we often become emotionally dependent on the people closest to us.
But sometimes, the people closest to us can also hurt us the most.
Today, I no longer look at this with blame. 🌿
Because many people are simply living through life carrying their own wounds.
At that time, I knew nothing about manifestation, mindset, or healing philosophies.
But I did know one thing:
As long as I still had even a little energy left,
I would continue learning and trying.
Even slowly.
Even awkwardly.
Even while doubting myself every step of the way. 😄
At thirteen years old, I started working.
My family could not continue supporting my education, and as the second child — and a girl — many expectations were already quietly decided for me.
But maybe there was always a small part of me that refused to fully accept that. 😄
So I kept learning while working.
And honestly, the “school of society” is both dangerous and incredibly rich.
It can wound you.
And it can grow you.
Now, at forty years old, I finally understand something important:
True confidence is not loud arrogance.
It’s not pretending to know everything.
It’s a quieter feeling:
“If I’m willing to learn,
I can slowly figure things out.”
Over the years, I’ve also noticed something interesting.
Many people say:
“I’m too old.”
“It’s too late.”
“I can’t learn new things anymore.”
And yet, something inside me always resisted accepting that as truth.
Now I understand why by that time.
Maybe my awareness was already beginning to wake up. 🌱
I slowly stopped fully accepting the idea of a fixed destiny.
We may not choose where we begin in life.
But we can still participate in who we become.
Little by little, I began experiencing something real:
Confidence does not come from pretending.
And safety does not come from external approval.
It grows through:
trying,
learning,
failing,
trying again,
and slowly discovering:
“Maybe I can.”
Today, I genuinely believe:
If there is something I truly want to learn,
I can eventually learn it.
Unless I simply choose not to. 😄
Of course, I also don’t want to do everything alone forever.
Human energy is limited.
Right now, I’m choosing to experience, explore, and learn things deeply for myself.
And maybe one day, I’ll naturally meet people who share the same sincerity, creativity, and vision. 🌊
For now, I simply want to continue living with curiosity and a beginner’s heart.
To keep learning.
To keep exploring.
To keep experiencing life fully through my body, senses, and awareness.
Because more and more, I feel this deeply:
The present moment is the only place
where we can truly act, create, and change our lives. 🌿
So if you’ve ever doubted yourself, felt lost, been criticized, or felt like you weren’t enough…
I just want to gently remind you:
Maybe you were never “useless.” Maybe you simply spent too many years without truly believing in yourself.

Breathing With the Seasons
A Gentle Reflection from YinHealingPaths
A few years ago, I often met with clients outdoors like this — sitting on the grass, breathing together, moving gently with the body, listening to the wind, the birds, the silence between breaths.

Rather than fighting nature,
the practice is about learning how to move with it.
Spring.
Summer.
Autumn.
Winter.
Each season carries a different quality of energy, movement, emotion, and nourishment.
Right now, we are in spring. 🌱
And spring in Eastern philosophy is not just a weather change.
It represents:
rebirth,
growth,
movement,
awakening.
In ancient Chinese characters, the symbol for “spring” once resembled tiny sprouts pushing through the soil toward sunlight.
I love that image so much. 😄
Because spring energy is exactly like that:
Life slowly waking up again.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, spring is connected with:
🌿 the Liver
🌿 the GallbladderNot only physically, but emotionally and energetically as well.
Spring is associated with:
movement, creativity, vision, emotional flow, flexibility, and renewal.Which honestly makes sense. 😄
After long winters — both literal and emotional — humans naturally begin wanting to move, stretch, breathe, create, clean, dance, walk outside, and start again.
The body already knows.
In Chinese medicine, each season is traditionally connected to different organs and energetic systems:
🌱 Spring nourishes the Liver & Gallbladder
☀️ Summer nourishes the Heart
🌾 Late Summer supports the Spleen & Digestion
🍂 Autumn nourishes the Lungs & Large Intestine
❄️ Winter nourishes the Kidneys & BladderThese systems are also connected with emotions, energy, environment, food, and lifestyle.
Not in a rigid or fearful way —
but as an invitation to become more aware of how deeply connected we are to nature itself.

Not perfectly. 😄 Just consciously. And honestly, maybe this is one reason why being in nature feels so healing for so many people.
Not because nature is trying to “fix” us.
But because nature quietly reminds us:
🌿 we already belong here.
